I’m excited to present to you my latest sewing project. This is probably the coolest shirt I’ve ever made. I worked on it almost every night for two weeks.
There are so many special details in this shirt. There are only about three places where there are visible stitches. The button band and cuffs have hidden stiches, stitched by hand.
It has light blue piping around the front and back yolk (a new detail for me). Light blue pearl snap buttons, two on each cuff.
The front band took several hours (I had to redo it) and the cuffs took at least three hours. They have a really cool shape to them. The yolks are freaking sweet, and actually weren’t too hard to make.
I don’t think anyone will pay for the amount of time this shirt took, it was a labor of love (as I do love western shirts), but maybe I’ll be faster at the next one.
Men’s large or women’s extra large. I do kind of wish I’d made it my size because I’m pretty in love with this shirt.
Handmade with love in West Virginia. One of a kind, newly made shirt.
Machine or hand wash cold, short spin. For longevity, hang dry. All fabrics are prewashed to limit shrinkage. Cool iron as needed.
